The Boom Tube Generator is a product of the New Gods. When placed on a destination planet, it provides mass transportation between it and the point of departure. Apokolips' invasion forces construct a Boom Tube Generator when the destination planet is secure. It then teleports Darkseid, in his flagship, to the planet. However, the Question demonstrated the Generator is a double-edged sword and could be modified to suck anyone and anything back to the departure point. The new Justice League once destroyed one placed in Washington D.C. while Batman and Question contemplated its future usefulness.
