Major General Stuart was an excellent military tactician and consumate soldier during the America Civil War of the 1860's. Long after his death, the ghost of Jeb Stuart was ordered by the ghost of Alexander the Great to watch over Lieutenant Jeb Stuart and his Sherman tank during World War II. Decades later, the cantankerous J.E.B. Stuart and the Haunted Tank appeared in Gotham City to help Batman capture Ma Murder.
