Mystery Incorporated is a group of friends who solve mysteries, first as children in their hometown of Coolsville, Ohio then across the nation and planet. They were eventually recruited into the Mystery Analysts of Gotham after they passed a test that was secretly set up for them to solve, culminating at the Abandoned Theater of Puppetto. Per the custom, as the newest members they got to choose the next unsolved case for the team to solve among its members' files. They got interested in Batman's sole unsolved case but he refused to allow it but they got embroiled in the Riddler's plot to unleash the late Professor Milo's Teleportation Machine on Gotham City.
