The Justice League International is a team of second generation superheroes that came after the Justice Society of America went into semi-retirement. They inhabit two bases, one in space called the Justice League Watchtower and the second on Earth called the Hall of Justice. The latest member of the League is Plastic Man. Although there was contention of his membership, Batman vouched for Plastic Man. 12 members met at the Watchtower after it was discovered Shadow Thief manipulated a meteor into a collision course with Earth. Also present were sidekicks, Robin, Aqualad, and Speedy.
Years later, they once participated in a baseball game against the Legion of Doom. Down by three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, Batman scored the winning grand slam. In the 21st century, Plastic Man was ejected from the League and some time after was disbanded.
