The Birds of Prey started as an impromptu team up of Huntress, Black Canary, and Catwoman when Two-Face was set to auction off the magical Cloak of Nefertiti to the criminal underworld for $22 million. However, Matches Malone was hit by a sandbag and believed he really was a gangster. They infiltrated the Iceberg Loung in search of Malone and found themselves singing an improvised musical number for their criminal audience. After escaping their Hammerhead Shark death trap, the Birds of Prey regrouped, defeated Two-Face, and restored Batman to normal.
