Dr. Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon and holds a doctorate degree in library science and is the head administrator of the Gotham City Public Library. Inspired by Batman, Gordon decided to become a superhero out of pure altruism unlike Batman or Robin, whose aims were to avenge the murders of their parents. In a CGI-based parallel universe, Batgirl took the spotlight and engaged the villain Firefly in combat. She chased him to a rooftop and saw Batman had taken care of him. Bat-Mite briefly viewed this universe before he was erased from reality.
