The Anthkar is a giant deadly alien insect that is native to the planet Zoron. When the planet was threatened by invading Baxians, a scientist named Alba sought the help of Batman, Robin, and Superman. An Anthkar attempted to eat them, but Zoron's purple sun gifted the Dynamic Duo with super powers and they flew away. The trio then helped liberate the planet. Years later, Bat-Mite conjured an Anthkar with several other beasts and aliens to fight Batman on an alien planet.
