The Zodiac Master hired himself out to other criminals as possessing the ability to read astrological signs and accurately predict if a scheme would work or not. In exchange, he demanded 25% of the crime's profit. Batman and Robin confronted him and learned that the emblems on his costume can be torn off and used as weapons, such as the ram's head of Ares turns into a battering ram.
Zodiac Master was present at a seedy bar in Gotham when three Batmen and Firestorm unexpectedly arrived looking for answers.
