Simon the Pieman is a supervillain dressed as a chef. He arrived in Gotham City intent on taking over the underworld. He kidnapped every criminal and dropped them into a hole. Batman, Robin, and Batgirl tried to stop him but were each subjected to a death trap modeled after Simon's motif. Batman was thrown into a giant eggbeater, Robin was trapped in a vat of butter, and Batgirl was tossed in a chocolate tank. They all escaped death and defeated the villain. Years later, the Pieman was seen at a Gotham bar with other supervillains as they fought against three Batmen and a new super hero.
