Named after Punch and Judy, the famous puppets, Punch and Jewelee worked as puppeteers at Coney Island, New York. They soon discovered a mysterious chest that contained advanced alien technology: a Mind-Recording Device, Hypno-Gems, Anti-Gravity Boots, and Sting String. Together, Punch and Jewelee embarked on a career as criminals.
The duo are defeated on a regular basis by Batman. However, on one occassion, Booster Gold arrived on scene. He attempted to recruit them as his arch-enemies. They were left speechless as the police drove them to jail.
