At a young age, a boy was bullied for joining choir. He soon disvoered that at an unique pitch, he could take over the minds of those near him. Over time, he suffered from megalomania and set out to take over the world. He became the Music Meister and has the power to create song around himself. He seized the chance to unleash his vengeance when a United Nations communications satellite was set to launch from a military airstrip. During the sabotage, he encountered Black Manta, Gorilla Grodd, Clock King, Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Black Canary. He fell instantly in love with Black Canary and wanted to use her voice for evil. Once the satellite went online, Meister could take over the entire world and planned to steal everything. Batman soon gave chase but was overwhelmed by a hypnotized mob.
As Meister set out to debut his reign of terror at Gotham Square, he left Batman and Black Canary to die in a catch all death trap complete with lasers, explosives, a closing wall, and acid. As Mesiter unleashed his song on the world, millions of people began to sing and commit crimes, even those underwater in Atlantis and astronauts in space. Batman used Black Canary's sonic scream and Meister's wand to restore everyone to normal then knocked out the villain.
