Floyd Ventris is a criminal scientist who was inspired to the new era of evil by becoming a super villain, himself. Ventris broke a pocket mirror and blinded a guard to escape prison. He felt he was destined to use it and took the name Mirror Man. Unlike most super villans, Mirror Man didn't don a costume. Instead, his square frame glasses, bald head, and overbite are the key distinguishing features in identification. He then equipped himself with a special two ray electronic mirror that could see through any cloth.
Mirror Man discovered Batman was Bruce Wayne during one of this thefts. Batman quickly arranged for a way to discredit the villain. Mirror Man became completely fixated on revealing Batman's true identity. During a public appearance, Batman was disguised as Alfred Pennyworth and the real Batman showed up as Bruce Wayne. Mirror Man was discredited and returned to prison. Years later, Mirror Man was at a Gotham bar when a fight broke out between three Batmen and Firestorm. With a lack of hand to hand fighting skills, Mirror Man quickly surrendered but that didn't stop a Batman from tossing him across the room.
