Mabel Mhurder is a senior mob leader in Gotham City's criminal underworld where she is known as Ma Murder. After leading Batman on a chase to a warehouse, Murder ordered her men to cover Batman and the Batmobile with cement then throw them into Gotham Bay. The Haunted Tank and the ghost of J.E.B. Stuart arrived to save the day. Aboard the Tank, the heroes pursued Ma Murder on a second high speed chase. It caught up and blasted Murder's getaway car then Batman grappled away to capture Murder.
