General Kreegaar is a high ranking military official among the Gordanian race. Over time, he became an antagonist of Adam Strange and Rann. After gathering intelligence on Rann's past, Kreegaar discovered a weapon of mass destruction lay at the bottom of the Sea on Abex on Rann. Its technology was similar to that of Gordanian's and he sensed it would turn the tide in his favor. Since Rann had no moon, the thermal weapon would be unstoppable. However, Aquaman's plan to use the Zeta Beam worked and the Moon created an eclipse that neutralized the Eye of Zared. Kreegaar was seemingly killed in the Eye's destruction.
