In modern times, Kru'll's henchmen dressed according to civilizations that he conquered including the Aztec and the Roman Empire. In his recent theft of the Greenland Meteorite and Lutonium, he planned to empower them and create a race of superhumans. They were all too eager to oblige and gain immortality and power.
With Skeets as a suitable power source, they were all briefly transformed. Booster Gold confronted them at once but realized if Skeets overloaded the meteorite, the effects may reverse. Luckily, he was correct and the warriors returned to normal.
