Floyd Lawton debuted in Gotham City as Deadshot, a crime fighting replacement for Batman, clad in a top coat and tails. However, Batman revealed to the public that he was a villain. Deadshot then took on a red jumpsuit and distinctive metal face plate and became an assassin for hire that never misses. The costume is a walking armory but he is infamous for using a pair of wrist-mounted guns. The absence of Batman in Gotham City attracted Deadshot's attention. After shooting a police car in half, Deadshot faced Green Arrow, disguised as Batman. Unable to use Batarangs, Green Arrow switched to arrows and overloaded one of Deadshot's wrist guns, which knocked the villain unconscious.
