The Brand, the Bandit with 1,000 Brands, is an enemy of Batman who dresses like a cowboy and his weapon of choice is a traditional fire-heated branding iron. His insignia "B" is the letter of choice on the brand. The Brand first arrived in Gotham City to steal $100,000 dedicated to funding a new youth center. While working on breaking into the vault where the money was stored, he set up various crimes to distract Batmanand Robin with. Years later, he was present at a seedy bar when Firestorm and three Batman appeared.
