January 28, 2021: Four new DC Showcase shorts will accompany DC Universe movie titles between 2021 and 2022, including Blue Beetle, in individual movie releases then in a compilation set featuring a longer Constantine short that comes out in 2022. All four are produced by Rick Morales. WF Article
May 19, 2021: Logline for Blue Beetle, included with the Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two release, entails Blue Beetle/Ted Kord teaming up with Captain Atom, The Question and Nightshade to battle Doctor Spectro.
