Miskatonic Psychiatric Hospital is an abandoned medical facility where Joe Braxton and Bethanie Ravencroft conducted their experiments on subjects. Magaret Sorrow later returned as Magpie with Ravencroft against her will to get her memories back. Both Batman and Lieutenant Gordon discovered the connection Miskatonic shared with Magpie and her targets. Batman defeated Magpie while Gordon freed Ravencroft.
After Magpie escaped from Blackgate Penitentiary, Batman and Alfred Pennyworth deduced she would return to Miskatonic. Despite Pennyworth's concerns, Batman went alone to Miskatonic to find Magpie. Katana disobeyed orders and also went to the hospital. Magpie overheard her motorcycle and went into a rage. She immobilized Batman then defeated Katana and fled the hospital with her.
