LexMart is an American retail chain associated with Lex Luthor. After a LexMart in Miami was sunk into the ocean by Aquaman, a new company policy was drawn up that held superheroes liable for damages. The San Perez LexMart got a sudden visit by Beast Boy, in his underwear, when he teleported there with a witch's wand. His friend Mickie happened to be working a shift and finished stacking watermelons. The Black Witch found Beast Boy and hurled a fireball at him. It hit the melons and they turned to dust. Beast Boy and Black Witch teleported away. Mickie sighed. One day, the manager came on the intercomm and told everyone to be vigilant in light of Elephant Man escaping from prison. He then asked Mickie if she was done with arranging the melons yet because he was assigning her to mop up the freezers because someone left the door open. Elephant Man charged into the store with a green octopus on his face. Mickie clutched the melons. They charged past and Elephant Man ran into a column and fell on his back. The melons fell to the floor and burst.
The octopus turned out to be Beast Boy. The manager told Mickie she would have to clean up after her friend then asked if he knew he was liable for damages. Beast Boy pointed out he was a superhero. Mickie explained the new company policy. Beast Boy admitted he was a bit strapped for cash but knew he had at least three dollars in his wallet. Elephant Man stood up. Mickie tried to tell him. Beast Boy insisted he was looking for money. She told him to look behind him. The manager told all shoppers to run for their lives. They promptly exited the LexMart. Beast Boy vowed to Elephant Man that he was going back to prison whether he liked it or not. The manager cleared his throat then Mickie. Beast Boy understood and asked Elephant Man if they could take the fight outside for liability reasons. Elephant Man declared prison was too small for him. He hit Beast Boy with a right cross and he flew into a shelf. He turned into a monkey and grabbed the four bottles that fell. Elephant Man tackled him through the shelving into the next aisle and the next and the next.
Mickie got an idea and ran to the intercomm room. She told held the manager back with one arm and told Beast Boy to lure Elephant Man to aisle 15. It worked. Beast Bot turned into a gorilla and goaded him into attacking him. Elephant Man took the bait and charged. At the last second, he turned into a fly. Elephant Man slipped on the wet floor and ended up in the freezer. Beast Boy closed the door and Mickie changed the setting. Beast Boy thought that was easy. Elephant Man's tusks went through the door. He claimed no one could stop him. He soon froze. The manager told Mickie she better not have any plans for the night. The store was a wreck. The manager added Beast Boy could pay at checkout. Beast Boy exclaimed he couldn't pay for it all. Mickie got an idea. Beast Boy did all the clean up duties. Mickie came on the intercomm and listed all the aisles that needed to be cleaned up. Beast Boy sarcastically thanked Aquaman aloud.
