A Lexcorp scientist traveled by train with a case containing Kryptonite. As the train passed through San Perez at 21:00, he and his security detail were attacked by Killer Moth. One of the men got him up to the roof during the scuffle. Killer Moth cut off his escape and sliced the hand cuff keeping a scientist and his case together then threw the former off. In eagle form, Beast Boy grabbed the scientist and safely deposited on land then flew to the train. The scientist and his security detail caught up to Beast Boy and took the case away. Beast Boy asked if that was he thought it was. The scientist only said that "Mr. Luthor" thanked him for his assistance.
