Killer Moth holed up in an apartment in San Perez and carefully gathered all the details on a Lexcorp scientist traveling through the city by train with a case containing Kryptonite. At 21:00, he suited up and flew after the train. Beast Boy happened to be on a roof about to eat a banana when he flew past. Moth tampered with the lights then entered the cab where the scientist was. As the lights flickered on and off, Moth took on the security detail. One of them managed to put the scientist up on the roof. Killer Moth cut off his escape and sliced the hand cuff keeping a scientist and his case together then threw the former off. He peeked into the case but Beast Boy snatched it away. Moth fired a grapnel at the case then swung it and him around. Moth recovered the case and Beast Boy was gone. He flew with it but paused in the sky when he noticed a green slug on his leg. The slug turned into Beast Boy and he grabbed his leg then turned into an elephant. The motor on Moth's pack died out and they plummeted.
Beast Boy came to and saw Killer Moth angrily huffing and puffing. He took one step and was hit by the same train. The operator attempted to get him off with the windshield wiper in vain. One of Pied Piper's rats helped him escape his prison cell. Mister Toad got his attention and suggested a team up with him, Elephant Man, and Killer Moth. They tracked Beast Boy to the suburbs using Elephant Man's trunk. Beast Boy rushed them and was beat up. Mickie threw an acorn at Mister Toad. Elephant Man threw a panel truck at her. At the last second, Beast Boy caught the truck in gorilla form. While Mickie distracted Toad, Beast Boy took on the others. As an octopus, he grabbed Moth and slammed him into the pavement. The four villains were defeated again and turned over to the police.
