Dent broke into S.T.A.R. Labs and stole the Halfinator, a device capable of separating things. The dented side chose the name "Dent" but the shiny side thought "Two-Face" made more sense since they were two cars stuck together. They flipped a hubcap to decide on their name. The dented side came up so they remained as "Dent." Instead of charging, Buff elected sneaking up on Dent since nothing was known about him yet. Thanks to a spotlight, Dent saw the Batwheels' collective shadow. He made a doughnut and escaped while the Batwheels drove into the dust cloud. In search of a power source, two identical large diamonds, Dent broke into the Gotham Diamond Exchange and stole the Twin Diamond. The shiny side was annoyed they tripped the alarm. He wanted to sneak in and now, the alarm was giving him a headache. The dented side liked it loud and thought the alarm let people know Dent was in town. They flipped a hubcap to decide on the alarm. It stayed on.
The Batwheels followed Dent's tire trail but the shiny side sent a tire out to make a false track. The tire returned to a pile in the alley where Dent was hiding. They argued about taking Main Street or Second Avenue and flipped for it. They headed to the Gotham Art Museum where the other Twin Diamond was on display. The Batwheels charged. Dent threw his hubcaps at the obelisks on display and they fell on Redbird, Batwing, and Bibi. Dent powered the Halfinator with the two Twin Diamonds and revealed his plan was to split himself into two separate cars so they could steal twice as much stuff. They went on a crime spree. The shiny side saw a double-headed gold coin. Batwing and Redbird devised a ruse to use a boy's toy police car to trick the shiny side. Batwing snagged him and towed him. Buff saved Bibi at the Cobblepot construction site. Rather than follow a trail out of the gate, they observed a tire return to a pile. Buff towed Dent out of the pile. Batwing and Redbird arrived with the shiny side. They merged the two back together with the Halfinator. Before Dent could decide where to flee, Buff swiped their hubcap then held them up in the air and asked Batcomputer to call the police.
