One of Moe's projects was the construction of a space rocket. After a couple months, Bat-Rocket One was completed. Coincidentally, it was done just in time for the Batwheels to use after Badcomputer took over all computers on Earth from a satellite in space. Moe remained in the Batcave acting as mission control. Bam handled steering and staying on course, Batwing turned the rockets on and off, Buff monitored the space radar, Bibi handled maps and navigation, and Redbird communicated with mission control (but kept tuning into Gotham's jazz radio stations by accident). They lifted off from the Wayne Manor property with atomic engines and made it into space. However, Badcomputer took over Moe's feed at the last second and tricked Batwing into turning on the rockets then Redbird hit the yellow button. The Mega Booster Mode took them past the Moon, Oa, and even Apokolips. Moe instructed them to push the yellow button again to turn the booster off.
They set off to return home but ended up in an asteroid field. Luckily, it was at Spiffledip's home planet whom they befriended. Spiffledip teleported to them and saved them from a giant asteroid at the last second. They returned to space around Earth. They engaged magnetic wheels to stick to the rocket's hull then linked up to each other with their Bat-tethers, and disengaged. Badcomputer and Crash attempted to throw space junk at them but Bam was able to remove Badcomputer's motherboard and return everything to normal. They returned to the rocket, flew over Gotham, dumped Crash and Badcomputer out for the police, and touched down at Wayne Manor.
