Giggles is Harley Quinn's pet hyena. Together, they entered the Gotham dog show with the intent of stealing the Best in Show trophy. Robin entered Ace to keep an eye on them. During each segment of the show, Giggles would sneak off to steal the trophy but Ace would be there at every turn. Harley grew impatient and stole the trophy then took off on her quad. Giggles commandeered a hot dog stand. Ace jumped from tent to tent, leaped off, and knocked the trophy back to the Redbird. Even Harley was amazed then she wondered why Giggles couldn't do that.
Penguin lured Giggles to Gotham Stadium with food then led her onto his Ducky Blimp. With Harley Quinn preoccupied with finding Giggles, Penguin planned to steal the stolen trophies in Harley's arcade hideout. Batgirl decided to help Harley find Giggles. Jestah happened to find her tracks and they followed it to Gotham Stadium. Harley heard Giggles and fired Batgirl's grapnel line to the head of the Ducky Blimp parked inside the stadium. It was trap and Penguin magnetized the head, leaving them unable to move. Batgirl had a gadget to counter it but couldn't move. Harley fired the grapnel and Giggles did a tightrope walk across the line. She grabbed Batgirl's gadget and eventually dropped it. They ambushed Penguin outside the arcade. Giggles tossed the cuffs to Harley and she cuffed Penguin's legs.
