Brendon led Gotham City Police's S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons And Tactics) team but operated it like an authoritative gestapo. Like most, Brendon did not like Lieutenant Gordon and even thought of him as a spineless bastard. In March, Brendon and his team put down a riot in Robinson Park with extreme force. On April 4th, he was about to do the same thing but Gordon arrived in time. Outranked by Gordon, Brendon was forced to stand down. In June, Brendon and his team confronted Batman in an abandoned tenemant. Brendon suffered five broken ribs and internal bleeding. On November 3rd, he was tasked with alerting Carmine Falcone's organization when Gordon left his home. When Commissioner Loeb went under federal indictment, he offered up Brendon as a sacrificial lamb and was put in prison.
