Lois Lane was present at Mayor Jessop's press conference when he announced the formation of a special task force in the Gotham City Police Department dedicated to capturing Batman. During a photo op with Bruce Wayne and Julie Madison, Lane noted Harvey Dent was still behind in the polls and asked Wayne if he thought bringing the carnival to town would give him the boost he needs. Wayne answered he hoped it reminded the people of how much Dent gave back to the city.
