Steve Lombard is a sports writer employed by the Daily Planet. He played football in high school, college, and briefly as a professional with the Metropolis Meteors. Lombard believes himself to be the manliest man of all and enjoys playing practical jokes on co-worker, Clark Kent. He wears a toupee but denied its existence until Kent secretly lit it on fire.
