The Dinosaur Men are a nickname for the Subterranosauri, descendants of dinosaurs who escaped extinction by burrowing to the center of the Earth. Now living in the Earth's core, they have heard or encountered Superman, whom they both fear and admire. The Dinosaur Men are ruled by Dino-Czar Tyrannko. After being goaded by Samson, Krull, the son of Tyrannko, led an invasion force to the surface world. They were defeated by Samson, Atlas, Superman, and Lois Lane. Tyrannko vowed to punish those involved in the invasion.
