The Fearsome Hand of Four is a quartet of cybernetically enhanced ninja assassins for hire. It is unknown how long they were in operation but were once hired by Black Mask to kill the latest Red Hood. They appeared when Hood intervened on an attempt on Tyler Bramford, the east quarter's drug lord. While it seemed they would have killed him, Batman appeared and turned the tide. Three were neutralized but Shot was murdered by Red Hood.
