  • A Millennium Ago: War between the New Gods of New Genesis and the New Gods of Apokolips begins.
  • Source: In "Justice League: Gods and Monsters", Highfather notes it is the first time in a millennium they can lower their swords. Event is believed to be 1000 years prior to the 1960s.

    20th Century

    The 1960s

  • Doctor Psycho works for Project MkUltra.
  • Source: In "The Dream", on page 19, Doctor Psycho states he worked for MkUltra. The program was active between 1953 and 1973. Placement in the timeline is conjecture.

  • On Apokolips, the New Gods of New Genesis and the New Gods of Apokolips toast to their peace treaty and the wedding of Orion and Bekka.
  • Source: In "Justice League: Gods and Monsters", the event is remembered by Wonder Woman.

  • Orion breaches tradition and visits Bekka. He convinces her to come with him. Orion takes her to the crystalline summits of Apokolips and presents a wedding gift to her, a sword. He shares his belief they are the only hope for their worlds but must be prepared for treachery at every turn. They kiss.

  • November 25, 1963: Bekka observes President John F. Kennedy's funeral procession as it goes through Washington D.C. and decides to become more proactive.

  • June 1964: In Mississippi, Bekka fails to stop three local white men from murdering two black man involved in registering new voters.

  • More Than 45 Years Ago: Jackson Alpert dies at the Farm in upstate New York.
  • Source: In "Genesis" Part Two, on page 14, Batman states the real Jackson Alpert died on a commune in upstate New York more than 45 years ago.

  • May 1967 During a music concert in New York City, Bekka saves a girl named Suzie Sunshine from a bad acid trip. She meets her friends, Guitar Joe and Doctor Psycho.
  • Source: In "The Dream", on page 11, it is stated to be "New York City May 1967".

  • Four Hours Later: After a chat with Guitar Joe, Doctor Psycho, and Suzie Sunshine, Bekka is invited to their upstate commune, the Farm.

  • A divide opens between the Hairies who follow Guitar Joe and those who follow Bekka.

  • A Few Months Later: Bekka's commune, New New Genesis, thrives.

  • 1968: Doctor Psycho sends his enchanced Burnouts to destroy Bekka and New New Genesis.

  • One Hour Later: Bekka drives the enhanced Burnouts away but another wave arrives. She recognizes one as Guitar Joe and notices a crystal made by her Mother Box. She uses it to heal all the Burnouts and restore them to normal.
  • Source: In "The Dream", on page 26, Bekka notes it took her an hour to force the Burnouts to retreat.

  • Guitar Joe leads Bekka and the Hairies to the cavern Doctor Psycho was occupying. It is cleared out except for those that didn't survive the experiments. Bekka concludes she must return to the world and bids the Hairies goodbye. She comes to be known as Wonder Woman.

    The 1980s

  • Four Years Ago: Valentina Guerra is born.
  • Source: In "Fallen", page 4, Valentina Guerra states she is four years older than Hernan Guerra.

  • April 26, 1986: The Chernobyl Power Planet disaster takes place.
  • Source: In "Genesis" Part Three, on page 12, Lois Lane states mentions the Chernobyl disaster. Historically, the disaster took place on April 26, 1986.

  • General Zod ignored Jor-El's claims and drills into Krypton's core to fuel his war machine.
  • Source: In "Justice League: Gods and Monsters", Jor-El and General Zod refers to this event at the beginning of the movie. Dr Lex Luthor refers to the event later in the movie right before his ship is blown up.

  • Jor-El sides with the Council in opposition to General Zod's coup.
  • Source: In "Justice League: Gods and Monsters", General Zod refers to this event in the beginning of the movie.

  • July 1986: Jor-El sets Lara's egg in the Incubator Pod amid preparations to launch it into space. General Zod intervenes and submits his genetic code to the pod instead. Jor-El's space ship is launched into space as the planet Krypton implodes.
  • Source: In "Fallen", on page 1, the event is seen in a recurring dream.

  • Notes: The year 1986 is conjecture based in part on the assumption that Superman is near 30 in the events of the Justice League: Gods and Monsters movie and in part a nod to John Byrne's The Man of Steel comic that ran from July to September 1986. Much of the Krypton scenes in the movie were influenced by the comic.

  • The son of General Zod and Lara is conceived in the Incubator Pod as it travels through space.

  • The space ship holding the son of General Zod and Lara lands in the middle of the Arizona desert.

  • Manuel and Rosa Marie Guerra discover the son of General Zod and Lara. They hide from United States military forces, who secure the ship. Dr. Lex Luthor orders the area to be searched and the ship to be taken back to S.T.A.R. Labs under Code Black parameters. The Guerras escape detection with the child.

  • Years Later: Pripyat is abandoned in lieu of the Chernobyl disaster.

    The 1990s

  • At age seven or eight, Hernan Guerra stops asking Valentina Guerra for comfort after his nightmare about Krypton.
  • Source: In "Fallen", on page 2, Valentina Guerra states it happened by the time Hernan Guerra was seven or eight.

  • At age ten, Hernan Guerra uses his power save other migrant farmers after their unscrupulous bosses intentionally sprays the field they are working with insecticide.

  • That Night: Hernan Guerra secretly harvests the entire field in one night.

  • While trying to scare Valentina Guerra, Hernan Guerra knocks the tree too hard and she falls. She is crippled. He stops using his powers.

  • While on the road, the Guerra family sees an airplane in distress. Hernan Guerra upholds his promise to not use his powers. The airplane crashes.

    The 2000s

  • Eight Years Ago: Anna Hernandez is born.

  • At age 18, Hernan Guerra gets into a scuffle in town and accidentally uses heat vision. A posse tries to avenge their friend but he uses his super strength to scare them away. Manuel Guerra calls him a curse and banishes him. Hernan Guerra says his goodbyes and flies away. He explores the United States of America then the world.
  • Source: In "Fallen", on page 21, Valentina Guerra notes Hernan Guerra went to explore a country he'd lived in for 18 years.

  • Kirk Langstrom is awarded a scholarship to Gotham University.
  • Source: In "Hunger", on page 6, Kirk Langstrom mentions the accolade.

  • Jackson Alpert comes up in frequent discussions at Gotham University.
  • Source: In "Genesis" Part One, on page 20, Batman recounts Jackson Alpert was a constant topic at Gotham University.

  • Kirk Langstrom is diagnosed with lymphatic cancer.
  • Source: In "Justice League: Gods and Monsters", the event is revealed in Batman's flashback. It is believed to have happened when he was attending Gotham University.

  • Three Years Later: Kirk Langstrom graduates from Gotham University. Dr. Lex Luthor poses for a photograph with eight of his students, part of an informal group named "Luthor's Boys," then gives them one last speech to use their gifts to change the world. Langstrom goes to finish his lab work.
  • Source: In "Genesis" Part Two, on page 2, Batman states as Kirk Langstrom he studied with Dr. Luthor for three years.

  • Evening: Will Magnus and Tina find Kirk Langstrom asleep in a lab. Tina convinces Langstrom to go to a party.

  • Evening: Kirk Langstrom, Will Magnus, and Tina attend a party the night of their graduation from Gotham University.

  • Late Evening: Tina drives Will Magnus and Kirk Langstrom back to their apartment. Langstrom notices Magnus' nanite project and realizes they could help complete his Bat Venom. He collapses and is taken to a hospital.

  • Five Days Later: One lab mouse, named Jerry, survives the Bat Venom trials and emerges with normal agglutination and its erythrocyte count still up. Kirk Langstrom declares it is time to inject himself with the Bat Venom. Magnus does it for him.

  • Evening: Kirk Langstrom is transformed into a vampiric being by his Bat Venom and wanders around Gotham City. Two men try to rob him but are easily dispatched. He instinctively tries to bite one of the men at the sight of blood.

  • Kirk Langstrom breaks up a domestic in Gotham City. He murders for the first time and feeds on the husband, Joseph.

  • Next Day: Kirk Langstrom returns home to Ellis, Nebraska but is rejected by his own parents. He encounters an ex-girlfriend, Francince, at Swifty's but gets into a fight.

  • Kirk Langstrom tries to lock himself in his laboratory in a ramshackle residence on the outskirts of Gotham City. He hears a voice telling him to embrace what he was become. He dons gloves and a ski mask.

  • Kirk Langstrom commits the third attack on criminals in one week.

  • Lew Moxon leads a meeting of Gotham's crime families. Batman kills them all, including Lew Moxon and his lieutenant Joe Chill.

  • 2005, 10 Years Ago: Superman and Batman meet. He finds Batman, on the run from authorities, in the middle of the night, on the docks with a rat in his mouth.

    The 2010s

  • A.R.G.U.S. is formed. Colonel Steve Trevor is appointed leader of the agency.

  • Jackson Alpert streams an international press conference from the Eternity Institute's global headquarters in Switzerland. Alpert's Holo-Golem introduces the Forever People.

  • Source: In "Genesis" Part Two, on page 3, Batman states Alpert was Doctor Psycho over 40 years ago. Since Psycho was first seen in 1967, "Genesis" takes place after 2007.

  • Superman ends a killing spree in the Metropolis Central Station incited by the Chaos Society. He incinerates each member with his heat vision. While addressing the press, Superman meets Lois Lane for the first time. She questions where he got the right to act as judge, jury, and executioner.

  • For Days: Scientists, namely Dr. Lex Luthor, philosophers, theologians, the intelligence community, the military, and senators debate about Superman's violent methods. President Waller speaks with her national security advisor, Jack. He dissuades her from taking any action but to observe for the time being.

  • Superman goes to the Eternity Institute and encounters Wonder Woman, Moonrider, Serifan, and Dreamer upon forcing his way past the perimeter force field. He easily dispatches them but surrenders. A Holo-Golem of Jackson Alpert welcomes Superman in. After a meal and tour, Alpert offers Superman and Wonder Woman the chance to take part in his Forever Process.

  • Batman attempts to sneak into the Eternity Institute but is attacked by security drones. They erroneously scan him for normal human life signs and conclude he is dead.

  • A Few Days Later: Batman reveals his presence in the Eternity Institute to Wonder Woman.

  • Four Days Later: Superman tests his recovery and spars with Wonder Woman for an hour. Jackson Alpert reveals Superman's alien physiology prevented him from being upgraded. Alpert asks them to stay at the Institute to be teachers for the Forever People. Superman vehemently declines.
