Mr. and Mrs. Edward Langstrom are the parents of Kirk Langstrom. Edward Langstrom was a simple man who ended up with a son more interested in studying the genetic code than repairing a busted carburetor. Father and son may as well been on two different worlds. They eventually turned their backs on their own son. Nothing changed when Kirk Langstrom, now a pseudo vampire, returned home to Ellis to do some soul searching. Edward Langstrom ignored him. Kirk's mother apologized and told her son to leave.
