The Bertinelli's were once the most powerful crime family in the Gotham Mafioso. A gang got into their estate, lined them up, and gunned them down while Jimmy Peakes played "Lullably of Birdland". One of the two children, Helena Bertinelli survived. She plotted her revenge and became the Huntress.
