  • October 9, 2010: Much of the show will take place in space. Oa is the center of Green Lantern Space. There are Green Lanterns on the frontiers of this space but are far and few between. When the show starts, the bulk will take place where Green Lantern and Red Lantern space intersect. It takes 18 months for a GL to get there so Jordan "borrows" a spaceship. IGN Article
  • October 9, 2010: Hal Jordan, Kilowog (a big part of the show), Atrocitus, Zilius Zox, Aya (a new and mysterious Green Lantern with strong ties to the GL mythos), Carol Ferris (will be seen a lot), the Guardians (Appa, Ganthet, Sayd), and Salaak will appear. There will be some characters from the DC Universe but not the ones you'd expect. Sinestro is off limits because of the live action movie, but will appear eventually. In upcoming episodes, the Lanterns come to the rescue of a planet's residents before an asteroid smacks into it, head to the Red Lantern home of Shard when Razer seemingly betrays them, and find themselves on different sides of a planetary war while trying to scrounge up some supplies.   • April 1, 2012: There will be a regular airing schedule for the first 13 episodes, and then there will be a summer break with 13 more episodes in the fall. Fans will learn about the back-stories of not only the Red Lanterns but the Guardians of the Universe, as well, and their history. There are a lot of things that we're nodding to the comics and putting in the show. Essentially by the end of the first 13 episodes, Hal Jordan goes from someone who acts before he thinks and becomes someone who looks before he leaps.
